On Tuesday, April 5th, Presbyterian Homes hosted a reception at its Westminster Place campus in Evanston to thank Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky for her advocacy on behalf of Illinois seniors. More than 60 seniors had the opportunity to hear Congresswoman Schakowsky talk about her work in Washington and to personally thank her for all she has done for seniors, from maintaining access to affordable senior housing to protecting Social Security and Medicare from privatization.
