Mary Ann Anichini
Vice President of Continuous Quality Improvement
As Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, Mary Ann joined Lake Forest Place in 1997. Early in 2002, she became Director of Operation Excellence, a corporate quality improvement, evidence based practice change initiative of Presbyterian Homes.
Mary Ann has been involved in the design and development of educational modules to assist long term care providers in understanding and responding to their quality improvement issues. In addition to Presbyterian Homes, she has worked in this capacity for Methodist Homes and Services, The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, The University of Illinois School of Social Work, My InnerView and The National Alzheimer’s Association. She has an undergraduate nursing degree from Loyola University Chicago and a Masters in Nursing Sciences from University of Illinois School of Public Health Nursing. Mary Ann is a Board Certified Geriatric Nurse Practitioner.
She was awarded a Certificate in Human Performance Improvement from the American Society of Training and Development in 2007. Mary Ann has spoken at the following national conventions: Leading Age (2005, 2006), Pioneer Network (2004, 2006, 2007, 2009) and National Alzheimer’s Association (2003, 2005, 2006).
