Vice President of Human Resources, Chief Compliance Officer
Andrew directs the strategic planning, development, implementation and administration of all human resource management programs, including talent management and onboarding, compensation and benefits, employee relations, equal employment opportunity, and corporate training programs. He also oversees the nurse recruitment and employee communications functions. Additionally, Andrew serves as the Chief Compliance Officer and oversees and monitors the Compliance Program for Presbyterian Homes.
He joined Presbyterian Homes in June, 2011 in the role of director of human resources, and was promoted to the vice president role in August, 2012. Prior to joining Presbyterian Homes, Andrew served in human resources leadership roles within the acute and rehabilitation healthcare industry. He served as director of employee relations at the University of Chicago Medical Center from 1993-1998 and then executive director for human resources at the Sinai Health System on the west side of Chicago from 1998 to 2011. Andrew also brings human resources experience from the hospitality industry (Hyatt Hotels and Fairmont Hotels) and the public sector (Chicago Housing Authority). A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Andrew relocated to Chicago in 1990. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in International Business and German studies, and an MBA in Human Resources Management from the University of Cincinnati.
